DI Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Austin White

  • Averaged 23.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.0 steals in two games
  • Shot 57.1 percent (16-of-28) from the field, 54.5 percent (12-of-22) from three and 60.0 percent (3-of-5) from the line
  • After scoring 13 points vs. Florida SouthWestern, he poured in a career-high 34 points vs. Santa Fe setting a school-record with 10 three-pointers (on 12 attempts)

Eddie Mitchell

  • Averaged 19.0 points and 8.5 rebounds in two games
  • Shot 65.0 percent (13-of-20) from the field, 70.0 percent (7-of-10) from three and 100.0 percent (5-of-5) from the line
  • Recorded 15 points and eight rebounds vs. Florida Gateway and 23 points (on 8-of-10 FG, 5-of-5 from three) and nine rebounds vs. Pasco-Hernando State, both wins for the Manta Rays

  • Hit safely in each game, in three straight multi-hit games to end the week
  • Went 4-for-4 and scored twice vs. Chattahoochee Valley; ended the week with a two-HR, three-RBI game vs. Pearl River

  • Reached base safely in all eight games and had a pair of multi-hit games
  • Was 2-for-3 with a homer and four RBI vs. Coastal Alabama-South; 3-for-4 with two doubles and two runs scored vs. Enterprise State
  • Homered in her only official at-bat vs. Central Alabama, and also drove in four runs and walked twice - she drew eight total walks for the week
