DI Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Truman Claytor

  • Averaged 22.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 0.5 steals and 1.0 block in two games
  • Shot 48.6 percent (17-of-35) from the field, 40.0 percent (6-of-15) from three and 62.5 percent (5-of-8) from the line
  • Led the Commodores to a pair of victories with back-to-back games scoring in the 20s 
  • Had 23 points and six assists at Tallahassee State; 22 points, four rebounds and three assists vs. Northwest Florida State

Eddie Mitchell

  • Averaged 14.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 2.0 steals in two games
  • Shot 47.4 percent (9-of-19) from the field and 57.1 percent (8-of-14) from three; also hit all three of his free throw attempts
  • Helped the Manta Rays to a pair of FCSAA DII victories
  • Registered 11 points and seven rebounds vs. Pasco-Hernando State; hit five threes en route to 18 points vs. Palm Beach State

  • Shot 77.8 percent (7-of-9) from the field
  • Was also credited with five steals

  • Hit for the cycle in the Titans' 12-6 win against Palm Beach State and was 5-for-6 overall with four RBI
  • Went 2-for-3 and scored twice vs. Polk State

  • Went 4-for-4 in consecutive games vs. St. Johns River State (three doubles) and Florida Gateway
  • Finished the week going 2-for-2 with two runs scored and two RBI in game two vs. South Florida State
  • Also went 5-0 in the circle for the Titans
