TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida College System Activities Association has announced its Weekly Awards in Basketball, Baseball, Softball and Women's Tennis.

Congratulations to the following student-athletes who received recognition for their outstanding performance in athletic competition:

  • FCSAA DI Men's Basketball Player of the Week: Austin White, Hillsborough
  • FCSAA DII Men's Basketball Player of the Week: Eddie Mitchell, Florida State College at Jacksonville
  • FCSAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week: Asiana Britt, Florida SouthWestern
  • FCSAA DI Baseball Player of the Week: Alex McCranie, Gulf Coast State
  • FCSAA DI Baseball Pitcher of the Week: Oscar Hernandez, State College of Florida

  • Tournament Passes are now on sale for the FCSAA Division I Basketball Championships, March 12-15, in Niceville, Fla.
  • The FCSAA has announced its Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2025
  • Men's Basketball
    • DI rankings: (2) Daytona State, (10) Chipola, (16) Eastern Florida State, (19) Gulf Coast State, (22) Northwest Florida State
    • DII rankings: (8) Florida State College at Jacksonville
    • Former Brevard Community College (now Eastern Florida State College) head cocah Don Smith, a member of the FCSAA Men's Basketball Hall of Fame, passed away recently at the age of 83
  • Women's Basketball
    • DI rankings: (2) Northwest Florida State, (3) Chipola, (10) Gulf Coast State, (13) Florida SouthWestern, (20) Eastern Florida State
    • DII rankings: (22) Palm Beach State
  • Men's Tennis: Eastern Florida State opened the spring season with a 7-0 win over Millenia Atlantic University
  • Women's Golf: Florida Gateway opened its spring season with a ninth-place finish at the Coastal Georgia Winter Invitational
