Region 8 Player of the Week Awards (for games March 21-27)

Congratulations to the following student-athletes who received Player of the Week recognition:

• Region 8 Baseball Player of the Week: Josh Pigozzo, Tallahassee
• Region 8 Baseball Pitcher of the Week: Jeffrey Wilson, Pensacola State
• Region 8 Softball Player of the Week: Feline Poot, Florida SouthWestern
• Region 8 Softball Pitcher of the Week: Zayla McBurrows, Chipola 

All Player of the Week honorees will be considered for NJCAA Player of the Week honors, which will be announced Wednesday. 

Spring Sports Update

• Tallahassee Community College men's track standout Leo Rutledge qualified for the NJCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships while running at Auburn University's Tiger Track Classic.
