CHARLOTTE, N.C. (October 7, 2020) - Lake-Sumter State College's Kyja Williams was named the NJCAA Division 2 Women's Runner of the Week on Wednesday.

Williams, a sophomore from Gainesville, Fla., was Region 8's top female runner and placed second overall at the B3R Sports Invitational in Ocala, Fla., on October 2 with a 5K time of 20:58. 

Williams was named the Region 8 Women's Runner of the Week on Monday.
