CHARLOTTE, N.C. (September 18, 2019) - Pasco-Hernando State College's Olivia D'Angelo has been named the NJCAA Cross Country Runner of the Week.

D'Angelo, a sophomore from Lutz, Fla., is Region 8's first Runner of the Week recipient. 

The defending Region 8/FCSAA individual champion, D'Angelo was the top NJCAA performer at last weekend's Mountain Dew Invitational, hosted by the University of Florida. She posted a 19:37 in the 5K, the top Region 8 time of the fall to date.

Behind D'Angelo, Pasco-Hernando State earned a No. 13 ranking in the first national poll of the fall. Daytona State College came in at No. 18.
