
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The NJCAA announced its Weekly Awards on Wednesday and Pensacola State College's Brunna Marinari was named the Division II Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week.
Marinari, a sophomore setter from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, averaged 9.3 assists over 13 sets played last week.
She also averaged 0.4 kills, 0.5 service aces and 1.1 digs.
Behind Marinari's efforts, Pensacola State posted a perfect 4-0 week.
Against Garden City (Kan.) CC, Marinari recorded 44 assists; she added 42 more in a match against Calhoun (Ala.) CC.
On Tuesday, Marinari was named FCSAA Division II Setter of the Week.
