
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The NJCAA announced its Weekly Awards on Wednesday and Daytona State College Abana Terran was named the Division I Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week.
Terran, a freshman rightside hitter from Orlando, Fla., averaged 1.8 blocks and 0.6 digs over 10 sets. She also tallied 2.0 kills and 0.2 service aces per set.
Terran recorded nine block assists in each match against Santa Fe and then-No. 1 ranked Miami Dade.
On Tuesday, Terran was named FCSAA Division I Defensive Player of the Week.
