
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The NJCAA announced its Weekly Awards on Wednesday and Florida SouthWestern State College's Julia Grubisic Cabo was named the Division I Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week.
Cabo, a sophomore outside hitter from Maribor, Slovenia, averaged 3.8 kills and 3.1 digs over nine sets. She also posted a .375 hitting percentage on 72 total attempts and averaged 0.6 service aces and 0.3 blocks.
Cabo led the Buccaneers to a 3-0 week, which included wins over nationally-ranked Eastern Florida State College and Daytona State College. She recorded a double-double in two of the Bucs' three matches - 12 kills and 10 digs vs. Eastern Florida State and 14 kills and 10 digs vs. Santa Fe College.
On Tuesday, Cabo was named FCSAA Division I Offensive Player of the Week.
