PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Florida College System Activities Association announced its Division II All-FCSAA/All-NJCAA Region 8 volleyball team on Thursday evening.
Headlining the 12-member team is Gulf Coast State College's Danna Aguilera, who received the Dulcie "Cookie" Stevens Award, presented to the FCSAA Division II Player of the Year.
Aguilera, a freshman from Kissimmee, Fla., has led Gulf Coast State to a 22-4 record (14-0 in Sun-Lakes Conference play) and No. 5 national ranking. She is currently averaging 3.6 kills and 3.3 digs per set while posting a .265 hitting percentage.
She was named FCSAA Division II Offensive Player of the Week on October 8.
The FCSAA Player of the Year is voted on by the FCSAA's Division II Volleyball Coaches.

Eleven of the 12 All-FCSAA honorees will be participating in the FCSAA Division II Volleyball Championship, which begins Friday morning in Pensacola, Fla. They were also recognized as part of the Sun-Lakes Conference Awards, also announced on Thursday evening.
