
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Hillsborough Community College's Matilda Dahlstroem was named the NJCAA Division I Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week on Wednesday.
Dahlstroem, a sophomore outside hitter from Malmo, Sweden, averaged 5.8 kills and 1.7 digs over six sets while posting a .226 hitting percentage.
She also averaged 0.3 assists, 0.3 service aces and 0.5 blocks.
Dahlstroem came up particularly big in the Hawks' four-set win vs. nationally-ranked Polk State College, recording 29 kills.
Dahlstroem was named the NJCAA Region 8 Division II Setter of the Week on Tuesday.
