
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (September 28, 2022) - Florida State College at Jacksonville's Brooklyn Schaffer was named the NJCAA Division II Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week on Wednesday.
Schaffer, a sophomore libero, from Hays, Kan., averaged 6.6 digs over her five sets played last week.
The Blue Wave played only one match, but it was a five-set win at State College of Florida.
In that match, Schaffer posted a total of 33 digs. She currently leads Region 8 and is fifth nationally in digs/set.
On Tuesday, she was named Region 8 Division II Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week.
