CHARLOTTE, Fla. (September 11, 2019) - Miami Dade College's Yaniris Miller-Green was named the NJCAA Division I Volleyball Player of the Week on Wednesday.

Miller-Green, a sophomore outside hitter from Santo Domingo, D.R., averaged 4.4 kills and 2.8 digs over 16 sets in four matches during the voting period. She led the Sharks to a perfect 4-0 week, which included wins over three nationally-ranked opponents.

Miller-Green also recorded double-digit kills in each match, including 23 in a four-set win over defending national champion College of Southern Idaho, and she posted three double-doubles (kills/digs).
