CHARLOTTE, Fla. (October 30, 2019) - St. Petersburg College's Andressa Parise was named NJCAA Division I Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week on Wednesday.

Parise, a sophomore middle blocker from Santa Catarina, Brazil, had only one match during the voting period, but it was a big one - a four-set win over Daytona State College to help the Titans punch their ticket to the postseason.

In the victory, Parise posted a double-double, 29 kills and 11 digs and also registered a .447 hitting percentage.

Parise is Region 8's fifth NJCAA Player of the Week in 2019, joining Miami Dade's Yaniris Miller-Green, Polk State College's Suared Molina, St. Johns River State College's Jordyn Pruski, and Hillsborough Community College's Isabel Martin.
