TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (October 8, 2019) – The Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) has released its NJCAA Region 8 Division I and Division II Volleyball Coaches’ Polls for October 8 and Division I and Division II Player, Defensive Player and Setter of the Week for all matches played September 30-October 6.
The next poll and individual weekly awards will be released October 15.

Player of the Week: Isabel Martin, Hillsborough
Fr. – MH | Mauerstetten, Bavaria, Germany
- Averaged 4.7 kills and 1.9 digs over 13 sets in three matches during the voting period
- Also tallied a .478 hitting percentage and averaged 0.4 service aces and 0.5 total blocks per set
- Helped Hillsborough to two wins in three matches, the lone setback being a five-set loss to Miami Dade
- Against St. Petersburg, she had 22 kills and 15 digs
