Meet the FCSAA Women's Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2025

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida College System Activities Association welcomed six individuals to its Women's Basketball Hall of Fame during the DI Basketball Championships.


Arianna Emmanuel-Wright, student-athlete, Santa Fe College, 2015-17

A native of Jacksonville, Fla., Arianna played for coach Chanda Stebbins' Saints from 2015 to 2017, averaging 15.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists over 58 career games and leading Santa Fe to the FCSAA Tournament each season.

After earning second-team All-Mid-Florida Conference honors as a freshman, Arianna elevated her numbers across the board as a sophomore, averaging 20.3 points en route to being named Mid-Florida Conference Player of the Year, All-FCSAA and second-team NJCAA All-America. Following the season, she joined a distinguished group of student-athletes whose jersey was displayed inside the National Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in Knoxville, Tenn.

After graduating from Santa Fe, Arianna played her final two seasons at the University of North Florida, where she appeared in 59 games, averaged 13.6 points as a senior and was named to the ASUN All-Academic Team in 2019.

She is currently the Assistant Director for Alumni & Career Services at the University of Richmond.


David Lane, coach, Chipola College, 2003-12

As head women's basketball coach from 2003 to 2012, David led the Chipola Indians to five FCSAA Tournament appearances and four FCSAA Championships, including three in a row in 2005, 2006 and 2007. The Indians also won the FCSAA Championship in 2009 and, in each of those seasons, he was named FCSAA Coach of the Year.

At the NJCAA National Tournament, Chipola advanced to the National Semifinals in both 2006 and 2009 and made it to the quarterfinal round in 2007.

Lane is one of only four coaches to win four FCSAA Championships, joining fellow Hall of Famers Roonie Scovel, Lyndall Worth and Carol Smith.

During his tenure at Chipola, Lane coached six NJCAA All-Americans.

Following the 2012 season, Lane left Chipola to become an assistant coach at Drake University, where he spent the next two seasons. Today, David continues to give back to the game as Owner and Program Director of Prairie Trail Sports Complex in Ankeny, Iowa.


Tiffany Stansbury, student-athlete, Gulf Coast State College, 2002-04

A native of Philadelphia, Pa., Tiffany played for FCSAA Hall of Fame coach Roonie Scovel from 2002 to 2004, and left Panama City as one of the greatest to ever wear a Gulf Coast uniform.

Stansbury led Gulf Coast to Panhandle Conference and FCSAA Championships in both 2003 and 2004, an NJCAA National Championship in 2003 and a national runner-up finish in 2004.

Individually, in 2004, Stansbury was named All-FCSAA, earned Player of the Year honors from both the Panhandle Conference and FCSAA and was named the WBCA Two-Year College National Player of the Year.

She continued her collegiate career at North Carolina State from 2004 to 2006, where she led the Wolfpack in scoring, rebounding, blocks and field goal percentage as both a junior and senior, earning Second-team All-ACC honors in 2005 and honorable mention recognition in 2006. She was also NC State's Female Athlete of the Year in 2005 and participated in USA Basketball's Women's National Team tryouts that same year.

After graduating from NC State in 2006, Stansbury was the 29th overall selection by the Houston Comets in the 2006 WNBA Draft and went on to play three seasons with the Los Angeles Sparks and Minnesota Lynx. In addition to her time in the WNBA, Stansbury enjoyed a successful 10-year professional career overseas, playing in France, Italy, the Czech Republic and Turkey.

Tiffany currently resides in Beaverton, Oregon, where she works for Nike!


Tina Stephens, student-athlete, Florida SouthWestern State College, 2017-19

Stephens helped put FSW Women's Basketball on the map in her two years with the Bucs. She was the first 1,000 point scorer in FSW history and continues to hold the school's career records for points scored with 1,071 and rebounds with 490.

Stephens was a two-time NJCAA All-American, earning Honorable Mention honors her freshman season before following that up as FSW's inaugural 1st Team All-American as a sophomore in 2019.

As a freshman, Stephens led FSW to their first of five straight Suncoast Conference Championships, was the Suncoast Conference Player of the Year and named All-FCSAA. As a sophomore, she helped the Bucs to a program-record 30 wins, was again named Suncoast Conference Player of the Year and All-FCSAA and helped FSW earn its first trip to the NJCAA National Tournament.

Upon graduating from Florida SouthWestern, Stephens signed at the University of Kansas where she played for the Jayhawks for two seasons then wrapped up her collegiate career in 2022 at Troy University. Over five seasons, she amassed 1,733 points and 919 rebounds while shooting 50.6% from the field.

Tina is currently pursuing a professional basketball career in Lebanon.


Bart Walker, coach, Northwest Florida State College, 2008-10 and 2017-present

Walker has led the Raiders for 10 of the past 17 seasons, first taking over in 2008 for two seasons before departing for six years. He returned in 2017 and has been at the helm ever since.

In his 10 seasons with Northwest Florida State, Walker has compiled 249 wins, bringing his career total to 455. His tenure includes seven Panhandle Conference Championships, three FCSAA Championships, and eight NJCAA National Tournament appearances. Under his leadership, the Raiders have reached the quarterfinals five times, the National Semifinals three times, finished as NJCAA National Runner-Up in 2024, and captured two NJCAA National Championships in 2021 and 2023.

Walker's impressive accolades include seven Panhandle Conference Coach of the Year honors, three FCSAA Coach of the Year awards, and two National Coach of the Year titles. Throughout his tenure, he has developed 36 All-Panhandle Conference players, 11 All-FCSAA selections, two FCSAA Players of the Year, and six NJCAA All-Americans, including one National Player of the Year (Sakima Walker, 2023).


Simone Westbrook, student-athlete, Northwest Florida State College, 2013-15

Westbrook played a pivotal role for the Raiders from 2013 to 2015, leading the team to consecutive 25-win seasons and back-to-back appearances in the NJCAA quarterfinals. As a freshman, she topped the Raiders' stat sheet in scoring, assists, steals and free-throw percentage, en route to NJCAA First Team All-America honors and the title of 2014 Panhandle Conference Player of the Year. In her sophomore season, she started 29 of 33 games, averaging 14.4 points, and 5.6 assists, earning NJCAA Honorable Mention All-America recognition in 2015.

Following Northwest Florida, Westbrook transferred to the University of Florida for her junior season, where she started 13 of 31 games and finished as Florida's fourth-leading scorer while leading the team in steals and ranking second in assists. Her defensive skills were among the best in the SEC, ranking third in steals, which earned her a spot on the All-SEC Defensive Team.

After losing a season due to injury, Westbrook finished her collegiate career at Clemson University in 2018-19, where she led the team to a 20-13 overall record and an NCAA Tournament appearance. Her defensive dominance continued, as she led the conference in steals and was named to the ACC All-Defensive Team.

Simone is currently teaching middle school science in Arizona.
