
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The NJCAA announced its Weekly Awards on Wednesday and Northwest Florida State College's Sister Arnold was named the Division I Softball Player of the Week.
Arnold, a sophomore first baseman from Sneads, Fla., is off to a torrid start in 2025, batting .667 with two home runs, 10 RBI and 10 runs scored through the first eight games of the season.
This past week, she batted .846 (11-for-13) with eight runs scored, three doubles, one home run, eight RBI and one stolen base in five games between January 27 and February 2.
She hit safely in each game, beginning with a 4-for-4, 5-RBI effort vs. Angelina and recorded two other multi-hit games including 3-for-4 with two runs scored vs. UA Rich Mountain.
On Tuesday, Arnold was named FCSAA Division I Softball Player of the Week.
