CHARLOTTE, N.C. (February 24, 2021) - The College of Central Florida's Gianna Guerriero was named NJCAA Division I Softball Player of the Week on Wednesday.

Guerriero, a freshman outfielder from Hainesport, N.J., batted .588 (10-for-17) with 11 runs scored, three home runs, 12 RBI and seven stolen bases in six games. She hit safely and scored in five of the Patriots' six games.

Guerriero was 4-for-7 with five runs scored, two homers and four RBI in a doubleheader sweep of State College of Florida. She was 3-for-4 with three runs scored, a homer and five RBI vs. Chipola. 

Guerriero was named NJCAA Region 8 Softball Player of the Week on Tuesday.
