CHARLOTTE, N.C. (February 10, 2021) - Pensacola State College's Jorja Barrett was named NJCAA Division I Softball Pitcher of the Week on Wednesday.

Barrett, a sophomore right-hander from Sydney, NSW, Australia, went 2-0 with a 0.70 ERA in two appearances during the voting period. 

In 10 innings in the circle, she allowed no hits, one run (earned) and five walks while striking out 21.

Barrett threw five-inning complete-game victories against Meridian (Miss.) Community College (11 strikeouts) and Bryant & Stratton (Va.) College (10 strikeouts). 

Barrett was named the NJCAA Region 8 Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday.
