CHARLOTTE, N.C. (April 24, 2019) - Chipola College's Brianna Bailey was named NJCAA Division I Softball Pitcher of the Week on Wednesday.

Bailey, a freshman right-hander from Wewahitchka, Fla., was 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA in one appearance during the voting period. 

Bailey threw a no-hitter in the Indians' 8-0 win vs. Pensacola State on April 15. In that game, she walked none and struck out nine, facing just one batter above the minimum.

Bailey was named Region 8 Softball Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday.
