COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (April 13 , 2016) - Three teams from Region 8 are ranked in the top five of the latest Marucci Sports NJCAA Division I Softball Poll.

The College of Central Florida, who lost for just the second time this season last week, dropped out of the top spot and now sits at No. 2. The Patriots continue to lead the Region 8 Softball Coaches' Poll. 

Indian River State College, the new No. 2 team in Region 8, stayed at No. 3 nationally. 

Northwest Florida State College, this week's No. 3 team in Region 8, dropped one spot in the NJCAA poll, from No. 4 to No. 5. 

Florida SouthWestern, who made its NJCAA poll debut last week, rose two spots to No. 15.
