
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The NJCAA announced its Weekly Awards on Wednesday and Daytona State College's Evan Casterline was named the Division II Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Casterline, a sophomore from Orlando, Fla., won the men's JUCO race at the University of Central Florida Cross Country Invitational on August 31.
Finishing first out of 47 runners, Casterline posted a 5K time of 15:48.9, helping the Falcons to a first-place finish in the team scoring.
On Tuesday, Casterline was named the FCSAA Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
