CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Eastern Florida State College's Luc Achermann-Stanfield was named the NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer Player of the Week on Wednesday.
Achermann-Stanfield, a sophomore midfielder from London, England, scored six points (three goals) over two matches for the Titans, who won the NJCAA Region 8 Championship with a pair of road victories.
At Daytona State in the semifinals, Achermann-Stanfield's successful penalty kick tied the game, which the Titans went on to win, 2-1.
In the championship match at Miami Dade, he scored the Titans' first goal of the match and later coverted another PK.
He found the net on three of his seven shots for the week.
On Tuesday, Achermann-Stanfield was named FCSAA Men's Soccer Player of the Week.
