TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (December 5, 2018) - The 17th annual Florida College's Men's Basketball Shootout will take place Saturday and Sunday, December 8 and 9 at the College of Central Florida and Santa Fe College.

All 20 Division I teams in Region 8 will split into two ten-team pools for two days of round-robin action. Ten games will dot the schedule both days - five each in Gainesville and Ocala.

Games will begin at 11 a.m. in Gainesville both days. Saturday's first game will feature Shootout co-host Santa Fe vs. ASA Miami while ASA Miami and Gulf Coast State College will tip things off on Sunday. The final game both days will tip at 8 p.m. in Ocala - Shootout co-host Central Florida will take on Broward on Saturday while Indian River State and State College of Florida will close the event on Sunday.
