FCSAA announces All-Star Baseball Showcase Schedule

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida College System Activities Association, in conjunction with the Polk County Diamond Club, has announced details for its annual Fall Baseball All-Star Showcase, which will take place Friday, October 11-Sunday, October 13 in Lakeland, Fla., at Historic TigerTown USA. 

The weekend's schedule will consist of workouts and a pair of games featuring players from across the FCSAA. A Showcase and series of games for high school participants will also take place. 

FCSAA member schools who are confirmed to participate include: Central Florida, Daytona State, Eastern Florida State, Florida SouthWestern, Florida State College at Jacksonville, Hillsborough, Indian River State, Lake-Sumter State, Palm Beach State, Pasco-Hernando State, Polk State, Santa Fe, Seminole State South Florida State, St. Johns River State, St. Petersburg and State College of Florida. 

Teams will be assigned as follows:

  • Sun-Lakes: Florida State College at Jacksonville, Lake-Sumter, Palm Beach State, Pasco-Hernando State, South Florida State, St. Johns River State
  • Citrus Mid - Central Florida, Daytona State, Santa Fe, Seminole State
  • Citrus South - Eastern Florida State, Florida SouthWestern, Indian River State, Miami Dade
  • Citrus Sun - Hillsborough, Polk State, St. Petersburg, State College of Florida

General admission is $10 for a day pass.

Friday, October 11

  • 5:30 p.m. - High School players check in, Joker Marchant Stadium
  • 6-9 p.m. - High School Showcase, Joker Marchant Stadium

Saturday, October 12

**High school games will take place simultaneously at TigerTown Fields 3 & 4 & Kaline Field, Lake Bonny, Southeastern University, and Henley Field

  • 8 a.m. - JUCO Pregame, TigerTown Fields 1 (Sun-Lakes) & 2 (Citrus South)
  • 8 a.m. - High School Games**
  • 10 a.m. - JUCO Game #1 (Sun-Lakes vs. Citrus South), Joker Marchant Stadium
  • 10:15 a.m. - High School Games**
  • 12 p.m. - Lunch
  • 12:30 p.m. - JUCO Workouts, TigerTown Field 1
  • 12:30 p.m. - High School Games**
  • 2:45 p.m. - JUCO Workouts, TigerTown Field 1
  • 2:45 p.m. - High School Games**

Sunday, October 13
