TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (May 11, 2022) – The Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) has announced its 2022 All-State/NJCAA All-Region 8 Baseball Teams.
The 17-member first- and second-teams, as well as the FCSAA Player, Pitcher, Fireman, and Defensive Player of the Year, were voted on by members of the FCSAA State Baseball Committee.
FCSAA First-team All-State/NJCAA All-Region 8
FCSAA Player of the Year
Caleb Cali, Central Florida
Fr. | INF | Montverde, Fla.
54 games, .433 BA, 15 HR, 73 RBI, 63 R, 3 SB...the Mid-Florida Conference Player of the Year...helped the Patriots to the Mid-Florida Conference Championship and a #7 NJCAA ranking...ranks first in Region 8 in RBI and total bases (159), is second in batting average, second in slugging percentage (.820), third in on-base percentage (.521), fourth in doubles (20), third in triples (5) and fifth in home runs (15)...a two-time Region 8 Player of the Week and was NJCAA Player of the Week on March 16.
