CHARLOTTE, N.C. (May 12, 2021) - The National Junior College Athletic Association announced its Player of the Week Awards on Wednesday.

Santa Fe College's Robb Adams was named the NJCAA Division I Baseball Pitcher of the Week while Miami Dade College's Erick Orbeta was named NJCAA Division I Baseball Player of the Week.

Adams, a lefty pitcher, was named the Bob Perky Pitcher of the Tournament. His no-hitter against Northwest Florida State College on the tournament's final day put the Saints into the championship game against Orbeta and the Sharks.

Miami Dade came away with a 10-5 win over Santa Fe in the championship game and Orbeta was named the Bob Zelinski Most Valuable Player of the Tournament.
