Pasco-Hernando's Michael Haydak named NJCAA DII Baseball Player of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (March 11, 2020) - Pasco-Hernando State College's Michael Haydak was named NJCAA Division II Baseball Player of the Week on Wednesday.

Haydak, a sophomore infielder from Tampa, Fla., batted .786 (11-for-14) with nine runs scored, six doubles, one triple, one home run, 13 RBI and one stolen base in four games during the voting period. 

He led Pasco-Hernando State to a perfect 4-0 week including a two-game sweep of Kalamazoo Valley Community College.

Haydak had multiple hits, scored and drove in runs in each of the four games. In the second game against Kalamazoo Valley, he was 3-for-3 with two runs scored, two doubles, a home run and six RBI.
