COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (April 23, 2015) - Seminole State College's Morgan Williams was named NJCAA Division I Softball Pitcher of the Week on Thursday.

Williams, a freshman from Callahan, Fla., was named NJCAA Region 8/FCSAA Softball Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday.

Williams, a freshman from Callahan, Fla., went 2-0 with a 0.54 ERA in two appearances during the voting period.

She was the winning pitcher in game two wins over Daytona State and St. Johns River State that helped the Raiders lock up the No. 2 seed in the Mid-Florida Conference. In the 1-0 win over Daytona State, she tossed a one-hitter and struck out four. For the week, she totaled 13 innings in the circle, allowed only six hits, one run and three walks, and struck out 12.
