TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida College System Activities Association has announced its Weekly Awards in Basketball.

FCSAA Weekly Awards (for all events December 2-8)
Congratulations to the following student-athletes who received recognition for their outstanding performance in athletic competition:
- FCSAA DI Men's Basketball Player of the Week: Karmello Branch, Santa Fe
- FCSAA DII Men's Basketball Player of the Week: Carter Mungin, Palm Beach State
- FCSAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week: Cleaira Peterson, Miami Dade

- DI: National Champion Florida SouthWestern swept the NJCAA awards last week with Julija Grubisic Cabo earning NJCAA Player of the Year honors while Thais Baziquetto-Allen was named NJCAA Coach of the Year for the third straight year.
