RICHMOND, Va. - The NJCAA Cross Country & Half Marathon Championships returned to Richmond, Va., on November 9 and 12, where the season-ending races capped another successful season on the trails for FCSAA teams.

Saturday's first race was the DII women's 5K and included nine schools in the team scoring.
Pasco-Hernando State College finished seventh, matching the best finish in program history while FCSAA DII Champion Emelyn Lacour was the Bobcats' top finished in 17th with a time of 19:21.2.
Daytona State College placed 16th followed by Gulf Coast State College (23rd), Florida Gateway College (25th), South Florida State College (27th), Lake-Sumter State College (31st), Florida State College at Jacksonville (32nd), College of Central Florida (33rd) and Tallahassee State College (40th).
In the DII men's 8K, Daytona State's Evan Casterline (25:29.2) and Joel Jean (25:32.0) both earned NJCAA All-America honors, finishing third and fifth, respectively, to lead the Falcons to a sixth-place finish.
Pasco-Hernando State was next in 13th followed by Lake-Sumter State (21st), Florida State College at Jacksonville (24th) and Florida Gateway (32nd).
In the DI women's 5K, Seminole State College placed 17th and Eastern Florida State College, 22nd.
The Raiders' Morgan Harvill was the top FCSAA finisher, placing 47th with a time of 18:57.1.
Lastly, in the DI men's 8K, Eastern Florida State finished 22nd and Seminole State, 25th.
The top individual runner was the Titans' Morgan Vici, who placed 100th with a time of 26:33.9.
Half Marathon
In Tuesday's half marathon, the Pasco-Hernando State women finished ninth, leading five FCSAA schools in the team scoring.
Eastern Florida was 11th followed by Central Florida (14th), Daytona State (15th) and Florida Gateway (18th).
Pasco-Hernando State's Nathalia Mallo was the top individual finisher in 29th with a time of 1:32:46.6.
In the men's race, it was Daytona State again leading the way, finishing 12th.
Eastern Florida State finished 16th followed by Pasco-Hernando State (18th), Lake-Sumter State (25th) and Florida Gateway (26th).
The Falcons' Jean was the top individual finisher in 32nd with a time of 1:12:18.8.
