Region 8 Players of the Week Awards (for games December 11-17)

Congratulations to the following student-athletes who received Player of the Week recognition:

• Region 8 DI Men's Basketball Player of the Week: Jaxon Ellingworth, Gulf Coast State
• Region 8 DII Men's Basketball Player of the Week: Amayoa'ah Phillips, Florida Gateway
• Region 8 Women's Basketball Player of the Week: Amelia Hassett, Eastern Florida State

• Swimming & Diving
  • Indian River State College swept a dual meet at Florida Southern College on December 15. The River men won by a score of 152-110 while the women beat the Mocs 172-88.
