TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida College System Activities Association has released its weekly coaches' polls and announced its Weekly Awards.

Region 8 Weekly Awards (for games April 22-28)
- DI Baseball Player of the Week: Justin Thomas, Florida SouthWestern
- DI Baseball Pitcher of the Week: Justin Jackson, Santa Fe
- DI Softball Player of the Week: Avery Brewer, Seminole State
- DI Softball Pitcher of the Week: Mallory Forrester, Santa Fe
- DII Baseball Player of the Week: Chris Arroyo, Pasco-Hernando State
- DII Baseball Pitcher of the Week: Dylan Maire, Palm Beach State
- DII Softball Player of the Week: Peyton Hatcher, Florida Gateway
- DII Softball Pitcher of the Week: Carolyn Lasater, St. Johns River State

Spring Sports Updates
- Baseball
- Division I: No. 6 Northwest Florida State College and No. 13 Indian River State College end the season ranked in the NJCAA DI Poll. Chipola College and Florida SouthWestern State College are receiving votes.
- Division II: In the NJCAA DII Poll, Pasco-Hernando State College ends the season at No. 15 following a three-game sweep of St. Johns River State College, who slipped six spots to No. 17.
- Softball
- Division I: In the NJCAA DI Poll, Northwest Florida State and Florida SouthWestern remained Nos. 2 and 3, respectively, while Indian River State slipped to No. 7. The College of Central Florida remains inside the top ten at No. 9 and Gulf Coast State College is lurking close by at No. 11. Santa Fe College is ranked No. 20.
- Division II: St. Johns River State ends the season ranked No. 12 in the NJCAA DII Poll. The Vikings will be joined by South Florida State College and Lake-Sumter State College in the eight-team field at the NJCAA Division II South District Tournament in Alabaster, Ala., May 9-12.
- Women's Flag Football: Florida Gateway College ran its winning streak to 13 straight with a 51-0 win over the Pasco-Hernando State club team.
