TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (February 15, 2022) - The Florida College System Activities Association has released its weekly coaches' polls and Player of the Week selections for men's and women's basketball, baseball and softball.

Region 8 Player of the Week Awards (for games February 7-13)

Congratulations to the following student-athletes who received Player of the Week recognition:

• Region 8 Men's Basketball Player of the Week: A.J. Cajuste, Indian River State
• Region 8 Women's Basketball Player of the Week: Last-Tear Poa, Northwest Florida State
• Region 8 Baseball Player of the Week: John Marant, Central Florida
• Region 8 Baseball Pitcher of the Week: Trent Becker, Santa Fe
• Region 8 Softball Player of the Week: Tori Ratigan, Pensacola State
• Region 8 Softball Pitcher of the Week: GraceAnne Spears, Gulf Coast State

All Player of the Week honorees will be considered for NJCAA Player of the Week honors, which will be announced Wednesday.
