TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (May 4, 2021) - The Florida College System Activities Association has released its weekly coaches' polls and announced its Player of the Week Awards in Baseball and Softball.

Region 8 Players of the Week Awards (for all games played April 26-May 2)

Congratulations to the following student-athletes who received Player of the Week recognition:

• Baseball Player of the Week: Rohsean Riley, Polk State
• Baseball Pitcher of the Week: Caleb Reis, Northwest Florida State 
• Softball Player of the Week: Mya Plant, St. Petersburg
• Softball Pitcher of the Week: Savannah Barnett, Central Florida

All Player of the Week honorees will be considered for NJCAA Player of the Week honors, which be announced Wednesday.
