TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (April 13, 2021) - The Florida College System Activities Association has released its weekly coaches' polls and announced its Player of the Week Awards in Baseball and Softball.

Region 8 Players of the Week Awards (for all games played April 5-11)

Congratulations to the following student-athletes who received Player of the Week recognition:

• Baseball Player of the Week: Nasir Frederick, Northwest Florida State
• Baseball Pitcher of the Week: Patrick Halligan, Pensacola State 
• Softball Player of the Week: Neely Peterson, Florida SouthWestern
• Softball Pitcher of the Week: Alyssa O'Donnell, Florida SouthWestern

All Player of the Week honorees will be considered for NJCAA Player of the Week honors, which be announced Wednesday.
