Pasco, Tallahassee end fall with half marathon

ORANGE BEACH, Ala. (November 19, 2018) - The cross country season officially ended on Saturday with the annual NJCAA Half Marathon Championships.

Pasco-Hernando State College and Tallahassee Community College represented Region 8 in the 13.1 mile race. 

In the women's race, Pasco-Hernando State wrapped up its best season ever with a fourth-place finish in the team standings. 

Olivia D'Angelo finished 12th overall with a time of 1:29:31. Quincy Mayer was 19th (1:34:25) and Grace D'Angelo, 20th (1:34:32) to complete the Bobcats' scoring. Isabel Oliveto, Montana Gottman and Madaline Toth also participated in the event for Pasco-Hernando State. 

Tallahassee finished sixth in the team standings, up four spots from a tenth-place finish in its only other appearance in 2016. 

Mia Wiederkehr finished 22nd with a time of 1:38:06. Kendall Ward was 29th (1:43:58) and Rachel Williams, 32nd (1:49:07). Genevieve Printiss also ran for the Eagles. 

In the men's race, Tallahassee took 10th in its half marathon debut. 

Brandon Flagler was the Eagles' top runner, finishing 22nd in 1:17:28. Gio Duran was 39th (1:28:54) and Gannon Hundley, 40th (1:33:15). 

Simon Hodgson and Andrew McMillan also participated for the Eagles.
