TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (February 19, 2019) – The Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) has released its NJCAA Region 8 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Polls for February 19 and Player of the Week selections for games played February 11-17.
The next poll and player of the week selections will be released February 26.

NJCAA Region 8 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

- Averaged 24.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists in two games during the voting period
- Shot 55.2 percent (16-of-29) from the field, 62.5 percent (10-of-16) from the three-point line and 87.5 percent (7-of-8) from the free throw line
- Helped Chipola to a pair of wins over nationally-ranked opponents
- After posting 19 points, eight rebounds and three assists vs. No. 25 Tallahassee, he scored 30 points, including 6-of-9 threes, to lead the Indians to an 83-82 upset at No. 4 Northwest Florida State
