NJCAA Region 8 Baseball/Softball Notebook: April 16

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (April 16, 2019) – The Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) has released its NJCAA Region 8 Baseball and Softball Coaches' Polls for April 16 and Player and Pitcher of the Week selections for games played April 8-14.

The next poll and player of the week selections will be released April 23.

  • Batted .750 (9-for-12) with 14 runs scored, one double, three home runs, seven RBI and six stolen bases in four games during the voting period
  • Helped the Patriots to a 4-0 week, including a pair of Mid-Florida Conference wins
  • Hit safely, including three multi-hit efforts, and scored at least twice in each game
  • Scored six runs and had five stolen in 17-8 win at Seminole State
