CHARLOTTE, N.C. (October 27, 2021) - Santa Fe College's Cydnee Eubanks has been named NJCAA Division I Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week.

Eubanks, a freshman libero from Blountstown, Fla., averaged 8.0 digs over seven sets during the Saints' two matches last week.

After recording 17 digs against Eastern Florida State College, Eubanks posted a season-high 39 in Santa Fe's season finale, a four-set victory over Polk State College. That also put Eubanks into the FCSAA's 25-Dig Club for the Fall 2021 season. 

Eubanks' 39 digs is the second-most in a match this season in the FCSAA and is the highest total among the state's Division I teams.

Eubanks was named NJCAA Region 8 Division I Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.
