NJCAA Region 8 Volleyball Notebook: October 10

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (October 10, 2017) – The Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) has released its NJCAA Region 8 Volleyball Coaches’ Poll for October 10 and Player, Defensive Player and Setter of the Week selections for matches played October 2-8. 

The next poll and individual weekly awards will be released October 17.

  • Averaged 4.0 kills and 2.9 digs per set (eight total) over three matches
  • Helped the Patriots to two wins in three matches
  • Posted double-digit kills in two of three matches – vs. Eastern Florida State (15) and Santa Fe (11) and also recorded double-digit digs (11) vs. Eastern Florida State
  • Also recorded a .518 hitting percentage

  • With 122 digs for the week, she continues to pace all Region 8 players with 345 on the season
  • Had at least 20 digs in each of the Bobcats’ five matches, including a pair of entries into the 25-Dig Club: 26 vs. St. Johns River State and 31 vs. Catawba Valley

  • Had 39 assists vs. Lake-Sumter State and 40 vs. Florida State College-Jacksonville
