BOLIVIA, N.C. (November 7, 2017) - Pasco-Hernando State College took the NJCAA DII District P Championship on Saturday with a straight-set victory over Catawba Valley (N.C.) Community College on Saturday.
The Bobcats knocked off the Red Hawks in straight sets, winning 25-14, 25-19 and 25-23.
Pasco-Hernando State swepts its way through the field, defeating Louisburg (N.C.) College, Cape Fear (N.C.) Community College and Walters (Tenn.) State Community College to advance the finals where it faced Catawba Valley for the second time this season.
On October 6, the Eagles lost to the Red Hawks in five sets.
Pasco-Hernando State was well represented on the all-tournament team with three selections - Sarah Asbury, Morgan Church and MVP Abigail Epstine.
