COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (September 21, 2016) - Teams from Region 8 continue to dot the national volleyball rankings. 

In the NJCAA Division I Volleyball Poll, Polk State College leads a quintet of Region 8 schools, all within the top 14. 

The Eagles are ranked fifth, slipping two spots from last week's poll while Suncoast Conference rival Hillsborough Community College dropped one spot to No. 7

Two schools made gains in this week's rankings. 

The College of Central Florida moved up one spot to No. 9 while Palm Beach State College climbed three spots to No. 13. 

Right behind the Panthers is Daytona State College at No. 14. 

Santa Fe College received votes in this week's poll.

On the Division II front, Pasco-Hernando State College remained at No. 7 in the NJCAA Division II Volleyball Poll.
