Palm Beach State's Haley Seyfarth named NJCAA Volleyball Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (September 14, 2016) - Palm Beach State College's Haley Seyfarth was named NJCAA Division I Volleyball Player of the Week on Wednesday.

Seyfarth, a sophomore setter from Bentonville, Ark., helped Palm Beach State to a 4-0 record last week. She averaged 8.9 assists over four matches and 11 sets. Seyfarth also tallied 0.6 kills, 1.7 digs and 0.5 blocks per set.

Seyfarth posted a double-double, 48 assists and 12 digs, in a four-set win over Central Florida and added 21 assists vs. Lake-Sumter State College and 25 assists vs. State College of Florida.

Seyfarth was named NJCAA Region 8 Setter of the Week on Monday. 

She is the second NJCAA Player of the Week recipient from Region 8. Just last week, Hillsborough Community College's Abigail O'Ferrell was named the Division I recipient.
