COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (October 13, 2016) - The College of Central Florida continued to move up the national volleyball rankings.

The Patriots, the top team in the NJCAA Region 8 Volleyball Coaches' Poll, rose one spot to No. 6 in this week's NJCAA Division I Volleyball Poll.

Central Florida is one of two Region 8 schools in the top ten. Hillsborough Community College is No. 8 after being ranked ninth last week. 

Daytona State College sits just outside the top ten, checking in at No. 11 this week and leads a quartet of Region 8 schools in the second ten. 

Palm Beach State College is ranked No. 13 followed by Miami Dade College at No. 15 and Polk State College at No. 16.
