TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (November 1, 2016) – The Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) has released its final NJCAA Region 8 Volleyball Coaches’ Poll and Player, Defensive Player and Setter of the Week selections for matches played October 24-30.
The NJCAA District/FCSAA State Volleyball Tournament will take place November 4-6 in Bradenton, Fla.

NJCAA Region 8/FCSAA Volleyball Player of the Week

- Averaged 3.8 kills and 4.2 digs over six sets and two matches during the voting period
- Led Palm Beach State to a 2-0 record
- Recorded a double-double (21 kills, 25 digs) in a 3-1 win over Miami Dade that helped Palm Beach State wrap up the Southern Conference Championship

- Averaged 9.5 digs over 13 sets and four matches during the voting period
- Led Miami Dade to three wins in four matches
- Recorded at least 25 digs in each match, beginning with 34 vs. Palm Beach State. Later added 38 digs vs. Broward, 26 vs. Daytona State and 25 vs. Santa Fe.

- Also averaged 3.4 digs per set
- Recorded three straight double-doubles – 46 assists and 13 digs vs. St. Johns River State; 29 assists and 10 digs vs. State College of Florida; and 38 assists and 14 digs vs. Palm Beach State
