COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (October 28, 2015) - Six teams from Region 8 will carry national rankings into postseason play.

Led by No. 8 Hillsborough Community College, five teams from Region 8 landed in the final NJCAA Division I Volleyball Poll of the regular season. 

Hillsborough moved into the top spot in the final FCSAA Volleyball Coaches' Poll after defeating then-No. 1 Polk State College on October 22. 

The loss dropped Polk State to No. 2 in the FCSAA poll and No. 9 in the NJCAA rankings. 

Other schools from Region 8 in the final NJCAA poll are No. 11 College of Central Florida, No. 12 Indian River State College and No. 15 Santa Fe College. 

All five teams will be part of the eight-team field competing for the NJCAA District/FCSAA State Championship in Pensacola, Fla., November 6-8.

In the NJCAA Division II poll, Pasco-Hernando State College moved up two spots to No. 12. The Quistas, too, have qualified for postseason play and will advance to the District X Tournament, held at Pitt (N.C.) College.
