Pasco-Hernando State's Wright named NJCAA Volleyball Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (November 11, 2015) - Pasco-Hernando State College's Teddi Wright has been named the NJCAA's Division II Volleyball Player of the Week.

Wright was named the Co-NJCAA Region 8/FCSAA Player of the Week on Monday after leading the Quistas to the district championship and a berth in the NJCAA Division II Volleyball Championship. 

A sophomore outside hitter from Lutz, Fla., Wright averaged 0.6 kills, 5.1 digs, 13.4 assists and 0.1 service aces per set (nine total sets) while tallying a .625 hitting percentage. 

Wright led Pasco-Hernando State to the NJCAA District P Championship and was named the tournamen's Most Valuable Player. 

She posted double-doubles in all three matches - 45 assists, 16 digs vs. Brunswick; 40 assists, 14 digs vs. Cape Fear; 36 assists, 16 digs vs. Catawbaa Valley. 

This is Wright's second national award in 2015.
