Central Florida sweeps past Faulkner State on way to nationals

BAY MINETTE, Ala. (November 10, 2015) - The College of Central Florida punched its ticket to the NJCAA Division I Volleyball Championship with a straight set victory over Faulkner (Ala.) State Community College in Tuesday's District P championship match.

Central Florida won by the scores of 25-15, 25-18 and 25-21 to put away the host Sun Chiefs. 

The Patriots advanced to Tuesday's match by coming through the loser's bracket to win the NJCAA District P qualifier match at the NJCAA District/FCSAA State Volleyball Tournament. 

Now, it's on to the national tournament in Casper, Wyo., where Central Florida will be joined by Region 8 rivals Hillsborough Community College and Polk State College.
