North Miami Beach, FL. - The road to defend your crown is usually filled with trials and tribulations. On Friday afternoon, that's exactly what the ASA College-Miami women's team experienced after they eventually managed to take down the #2 ranked Manatees.

At the conclusion of doubles play ASA trailed SCF 1-2 with ASA's only win coming at #3 doubles.

The final match was at 4 singles between Siri Victorsson and Mialiniaina Rakotondrazafy. Victorsson won the match and clinched the victory for ASA. The match ended at approximately 6:45pm.

The biggest upset of the day came at #1 singles, when #7 ranked Yuliana Munroy took down the number one singles player in the country - Maria Medina.
